Leftovers are fun!

  1. Do you and your kids get tired of eating the same leftovers for dinner the next day?
  2. Do you like to eat crunchy chips?
If you answered yes to both, stock up your pantry with a few boxes of tacos and give your dinner a whole new life. We put the tacos in the toaster oven for a few minutes and just spoon leftovers into the middle. Kids love to eat the taco shell and to build their own dinner too.

This is very interesting. What kinds of leftovers do you do this with?

My 2 kids are picky eaters so our meals are usually pretty simple. Rice, pasta, tofu with ground meat, bite-sized chicken pieces, scrambled eggs, etc.

You can top your taco with shredded cheese and avocado too.

If you have flour tortillas, you can use the same idea and build your own burrito.

And of course, don't forget to preface the taco meal with: "Remember, the taco is SUPPOSED to break! It's a good thing; less work for your teeth."
